Our story begins on the roads of Ethiopia's coffee highlands. Our grandfather was a small trader, and our father spent his youth travelling those roads with him, learning what the land means to the people who have worked it for generations. Coffee captured him early, and never let go.
For 30 years, he built relationships with producers across Ethiopia's local coffee markets, learning quality at its source. In 2022, his two sons carried that foundation international. We founded Ethio Coffee Export in Addis Ababa, a family export company directly involved from farm to port. Today that includes running our own drying station in Guji Hambella, where we collect and process cherry directly from local farmers, alongside sourcing from trusted cooperatives and washing stations across Ethiopia's finest regions.
In 2025, Ethiopian Beans was launched, bringing our family's coffee directly to Canadian homes. Every bean we sell comes exclusively through Ethio Coffee Export, sourced from trusted cooperatives and farming communities in Guji, Sidamo, and Yirgacheffe.
When you brew our coffee, you support farmers who are paid fairly for their craft. And you taste what that care produces: heirloom varietals and traditions that make Ethiopian coffee unlike anything else in the world.
